We are seeking an energetic family orientated parish Incumbent who is called to serve as the spiritual leader and pastor of the parish, providing visionary leadership, pastoral care, and sacramental ministry.

 

We are excited to welcome a new incumbent who:

  • Has a clear and confident sense of their personal mission, who is spiritually inspiring and has a pilgrim sense of worship and who will help us develop our vision and lead us onto the next exciting stage of our journey.
  • is at the stage in their priestly career where they are ready to embrace the opportunities to reach new audiences in our parish.
  • Is a gifted and inspirational communicator, preacher and teacher of the gospel, able to lead us, wherever we are on our journey, into a deeper understanding of God’s message and how it applies to our lives.
  • Is family orientated and understands family matters, supporting the integration of children as part of Sunday Eucharists and development of the Sunday School.
  • Has had experience of working with a Church of England school and can find new ways of further integrating the school into parish life, and vice versa.
  • Has a love of music in worship and will support the work of our church choir and our fundraising needs to restore our historic pipe organ.
  • Has a strategic view, a good planner, good administrator and a good chair of meetings.
  • Can inspire our laity as a leader with compassion, humility, flexibility and pragmatism.
